The roots

Founder Matt Watson has been working in the internet industry with a specialism in interface design, for the last 10+ years. After studying art and photography for 4 years, and working as an apprentice in the Video Games arena, Matt worked for Cisco Systems BV (Amsterdam) where he assisted with the set-up and communication of a global internal support unit. Matt then went on to webmaster for Corporate Network Services Ltd., and carried out the set-up of a new brand identity for ‘Active Intranet PLC’. Matt then went on to Vital Online Ltd, where he set up the new media studio team before moving onto the Senior Management Team heading up the companies largest projects as Principal Consultant.

These websites included www.sequencehome.co.uk (and an intranet to support the 2000+ staff who work for sequence), a new website development for Symphony-Group PCL (large scale kitchen bedroom and bathroom furniture manufacturer), Bayford oil, and Porcelanosa to name but a few.

Matt also worked on behalf of Vital for Royal Sun Alliance Global Ventures - a Venture Capital arm of the large insurance corporation where, working with people like AT KEARNEY and FITCH he advised and assisted start up business with their internet strategy.

These roles gained a lot of exposure to the ever increasing facets of design and the internet - this was the main drive behind the formation of Jaylix Productions Ltd. - a desire to deliver an excellence in media and design solutions.
